Please get in touch with us using only one of the above listed methods. Starting multiple lines of communication on the same topic via different channels may delay our response time to you and other customers. 

FEM Apparel doesn’t have a call centre and we aren’t set-up to be able to handle a high volume of calls. Our business model and brand was built and scaled for online interactions, including customer support.

So, instead of a phone number, we have a live chat feature available on our website. You’ll be able to get a real live person immediately between the hours of 10am and 6pm EST. 

After hours, a notification will be sent out and if one of our team is still available, you’ll get a reply shortly. Otherwise, your request will be logged and we will make sure to get back to you first thing the next day. Although you may receive an automated response every now and then to let you know we received your message, rest assured we have a team of dedicated customer service professionals who are actively responding to all messages as quickly as possible. 

Our aim is to respond within 12 hours to all messages. However, during busier retail periods that goal might be extended a touch longer. We thank you for your patience and continued support. 

The more the merrier! But at the very least, please include your Order # (if there was one) and the specific details of the product in question (ie: Female Empowerment Matters t-shirt, in black, for women). 

This will help us provide you a faster, and more helpful response immediately instead of asking for follow-up information.

We’re sorry! In the unlikely event that the wrong item was shipped, please contact us immediately with the following information so that we can get this fixed for you as fast as possible:


° Your order number
° The name of the item you did not receive
° The name of the item you received in its place
° A clear photograph of the item you have received, including any and all logos/slogans etc.


Once we have received that information, our customer support team will resolve this issue for you ASAP! You will be asked to return the item through our Returns & Exchanges Process.


All claims for orders arriving with incorrect and/or missing items must be made within 30 days of the delivery date.

We are so sorry to hear one of our items arrived either faulty or damaged in some way! Please send us the following information to returns@femaleempowermentmatters.com:


° Your Order Number
° Item Name
° Photos of the following:
          Product fault (as clearly as possible)
          Full-length photo of the item
          The FEM Apparel logo and label (if applicable)


There is no need to send your faulty item back to us. We will have our customer support team get to work on sending you a new version of what you ordered as soon as we process the above requested items. 

In order for your fault/damage claim to be successful, we do require the claim, with the above required information, to be submitted within 7 days of the date of delivery as per the shipping company manifest.

We selected charities based on two primary criteria: the work that they do aligns with our goal of empowering women and promoting gender equality, and that they have a good charitable rating. By good charitable rating we mean that the money given is mostly used for the work they are advocating on behalf of.

Our long-term goal is to create our own foundation focusing on gender equality and female empowerment. Until we reach the financial means to execute on that plan, we will be supporting the above mentioned charities with $1 of every item sold. Every little bit helps, but collectively we can make a larger difference and we hope that you take a small measure of pride and hope through your own contribution by purchasing one of our items.

Great question! We will provide proof of donation online! We’ll post images on our social channels and send out a newsletter thanking everyone for their support which allowed us to provide the donation and include an image of the confirmed donation. 

Our current policy is to submit a donation on a quarterly basis. If that changes, we’ll include the updated timeline right here.

Click here to start the return process. Our goal is to make your experience a simple and positive one. If your item is not what you expected, simply return it as you got it (unworn, unwashed, tags, if any, still attached), free of charge, for either an exchange or a refund.

Orders placed by 6pm EST will be processed that day, and shipped the following day.

All of our shipping originates with Canada Post. However, Canada Post may use regional-specific sub-carriers to complete the shipment to the final location.

We are able to ship items to any country that Canada Post ships to. For transactions shipping to the United States and any other country other than Canada, the currency used is USD. For items shipped to Canada, transactions use CDN currency.

We are working on expanding our currency options and will in the near future offer other regions to use their local currencies for purchases and shipping charges

You are still able to place our order and it will ship as soon as we get stock replenished in your size. If we are unable to get a replacement item, we will refund you the full amount of the items we are unable to fulfill.

FEM Apparel displays and collects payments in the local currencies of select countries. To view or change your currency, click the flag in the top right-hand corner of your screen and select your country or territory.

All prices, fees and any applicable taxes and other charges are payable in your selected currency at checkout. If your payment card is registered with a different currency than the currency selected at checkout, your bank will convert the price using their exchange rate.

When we convert our prices into different currencies, additional fees may be included to offset the daily exchange rate’s fluctuations, as well as additional transportation costs.

Note: Many banks collect a conversion fee for handling transactions in another currency. FEM Apparel is not responsible for any fees.

It usually takes our warehouse 1-2 weeks to receive the returned item and process the refund. Once your return has been received and processed, you will receive an email indicating the refund has been completed.

Orders will take 4-7 business days within Canada. Orders in the continental United States will take 7-10 business days. International orders will take 10-15 business days. 

Delays in customs are possible and are not accounted for in the time estimations above.

We don’t just want to talk about female empowerment, we want to celebrate it! The Empowered is our way of highlighting all the bad-ass females out there that are taking control of their environments. The Empowered can be anyone. We want to celebrate and highlight that all forms of female empowerment are important and necessary.
